Mark Sievers is the founder and CEO of The Sievers Company LLC .
Mark holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Kentucky , MBA in Finance from Xavier University ( OH ) , has attended executive education courses at Harvard Business School , and holds a Kentucky real estate license ( affiliated with Apex Realty ) .His previous corporate background includes 27 years working for Jerrico , Long John Silver’s , Yorkshire Global Restaurants , and YUM! Brands .
Current affiliations include the Business Brokers Network, International Business Brokers Association , Kentucky Restaurant Association , Sage Group Strategies ( consultants to troubled companies ) . He is also a freelance writer and writes on franchising , food business, and other topics .
JAY S. KNOBLETT

Jay is the Founder of Arlington Scott Consulting, a mergers and acquisitions firm with regional, national and international contacts. Arlington Scott advises business owners on the purchase and sale of businesses, their business value, enhancement and turn-around plans and also develops business plans. He has over 20 years of experience serving and training entrepreneurs in all facets of business ownership. Mr. Knoblett has significant experience valuing all sizes of businesses and has facilitated the sale of companies with values in excess of $40 million.
He is a 1983 graduate of the University of Kentucky’s College of Business & Economics with a Bachelor of Sciences in Accounting. Prior to founding this firm, Jay served as CFO for two different organizations; a Japanese automotive parts manufacturer and an Australian owned underground mining equipment manufacturer. Both organizations were mid-sized companies with annual revenues not exceeding $50 Million.
He has graduated from the Banking School at The EX-IM Bank (Branch of the SBA), is a Certified Business Counselor (CBC) and has certifications as a Primary Business Consultant (PBC), Senior Business Analyst (SBA) and Machinery & Equipment Appraiser (MEA).
In 2007 Jay was awarded the title of Master Primary Business Consultant which is the highest verifiable certification of excellence in the business transfer industry. He is member of the Advocates Business Consultants, a select group of consultants whose members all have backgrounds in small business ownership and entrepreneurship. ABC has affiliate offices nationwide. Other affiliations include the Society of Business Analysts and the Institute of Certified Business Counselors. He is also a co-author of the book E4, a comprehensive guide for the entrepreneur in Evaluating, Entering, Enhancing and Exiting business ownership, and has been invited to speak at numerous conferences and seminars.
Jay is married to Dian Tooley-Knoblett, a law professor at Loyola University. Jay and Dian have five children.
